Hamburger Hashbrown Casserole on a plate with vegetables

This casserole is quick to stir together on a busy day. If you don’t have home canned hamburger, brown 3/4 to 1 pound of ground beef and drain it well before adding it to the soup and water.

HAMBURGER HASHBROWN CASSEROLE (Pantry Cooking with Home Preserved Foods)

2 cans (10-3/4 ounces each) tomato soup
2 cups HOT water
2 cartons (4 ounces each) dehydrated hash brown potatoes (3 cups)
1 pint ground beef, drained

Mix soup and water. Add potatoes and beef. Pour into a 2-quart casserole. Bake at 400o for 45 minutes. Let stand 5 minutes before serving. Serves 6.
